John-Mars.com is my first project built upon the Django platform for Python. It was created in November/December 2013.

Python is a fantastic programming language that is relatively easy to write and understand.

Django allows me to easily add and edit content very quickly, and display that content in a modular, expandable way.

The site is hosted on my own personal VPS, or Virtual Private Server -- essentially a Linux computer I've configured from the ground up to host my website and serve content to you.
