Designed during my summer internship at Svigals + Partners, in New Haven, CT, Public Plaza is the rejuvenation of an empty lot and adjacent parking garage in the city.

The empty lot would be converted into a semi covered public plaza, surrounded on both sides by new shops and restaurants, to try to bring life to an empty area of the city.

A giant electronic screen, mediating the street and lobby of the anchor tenant is a beacon visible from the populated center of town.

Above, a residential tower creates a new addition to the skyline of New Haven.
